If we had it in us, we'd not call Goa a state, we'd call it a pause button. Wake up late. Walk barefoot. Eat what feels good. Do nothing. Or everything. It's yours. Come lose time, find yourself, whatever you need.

Where History Speaks and
Every Corner Tells a Tale.

Not all views are better seen from the window seat. Some views are earned.
Some views ask for you to leave behind every non-essential thing, comfort and maybe even the internet connection. And to walk for some hours, to appreciate a few little waterfalls and to smell a million kinds of flowers on the way. It’ll be tough but it’ll be beautiful and worth it.
When you reach the top, the first thing you notice is the wind. It’s purer than anywhere else. Then, you drop your bag, stretch your arms and for a few seconds, do absolutely nothing and that’s when you realise, pahadon ki hawaa mein jaadu hai.

Himachal Pradesh
He who returns from mountains is never the same as he who left. And why would he? Up here, roads curve like they’ve been drawn by hand. The air does some kind of magic, the kind that also makes you breathe slower without realizing. Up here, you don’t chase dreams, you meet them halfway. Maybe that’s what the mountains do, they don’t change who you are, they just remind you of what you were before the world got too loud. Somewhere along a beautiful trail, a mountain dog starts following you. He’ll have no leash, no reason, just company to give. He stops when you stop, runs ahead when you do, like he’s been walking with lost souls forever. And when he finally disappears into the fog, you realize, nothing here stays with you. It just leaves something behind.

Sikkim
If you ever looked at the size of Sikkim and underestimated it, you shall be proven wrong. It is India’s cleanest, calmest and (second) smallest state. The world's third highest mountain stands here. The forests here hide red pandas, orchids and more birds than you can ever count. The farmers here only believe in organic farming. Not to forget the innumerable lakes, glaciers and high-altitude terrains. You take a drive here and you’ll pass through fog and stumble upon waterfalls no maps have marked. You take a sip of hot tea here and your feet will be dangling in floating clouds. You’ll come out of your car to see the lake and you’ll be confused between which is more bluer, sky or lake. You’ll lift your head up to see the source of the waterfall and you’ll be sure that it’s falling straight from the sky. That’s how Sikkim will overwhelm you.

Leh Ladakh
What happens about 11,500 ft above sea level? At first, it won’t look as peaceful as you’ve seen on brochures. The air is thin; it stings your lungs. Every movement reminds you how far you are from comfort. You learn to slow down, not out of choice, but because your body insists. Acclimatisation isn’t a word here, it’s a lesson of patience. Once that’s done, you see lakes that reflect the sky so well, you can’t figure out which is the sky, which is the lake. At night, you see so many stars you forget you are still on earth. Coming here will change something in you. Quietly, without trying. The mountains won’t comfort you but they’ll strip away the noise you didn’t know you were carrying. The thin air makes you slow down and in that slowing, you start to see yourself more clearly. You begin to understand that not everything needs fixing, not every silence needs filling.

Uttarakhand
People believe Mahadev lives here, we don’t know about that but what we know is, the land feels like He could. They even say that if Mahadev really does hold the Ganga in his hair, it makes sense He’d stay close. We don’t even know about that but what we know is, the water feels like something greater has touched it. Honestly, you don’t have to be religious to feel something here. The clean air of the valleys, the pure water of Ganga, Yamuna and the winds that carry the chants of age-old sages will make you one with something greater than life. Whether He lives here or not… Come, see for yourself.

Jammu Kashmir
They call it “heaven on earth” and for once, the phrase isn’t an exaggeration. Why? Because here, you’ll come to see lakes that hold the sky so still, you’ll forget which way is up. The air is thin, but it fills you with something heavy: sukoon. In one moment, you’re standing in silence; in the next, the wind moves, and the whole valley shifts its mood. You’ll see houseboats float like dreams in Srinagar. In Gulmarg, horses move through the cold like they belong to it. In Pahalgam, the river doesn’t flow, it rushes like it has something to prove to the mountains. Somewhere along the way, you stop looking for heaven in the sky, you start feeling it under your feet. Here, everything feels untouched, yet everything touches you. The mountains don’t speak, but they tell you everything you need to know.
