If we had it in us, we'd not call Goa a state, we'd call it a pause button. Wake up late. Walk barefoot. Eat what feels good. Do nothing. Or everything. It's yours. Come lose time, find yourself, whatever you need.

Where mist-covered forests meet the grandeur of the Eastern Himalayas.
If you ever looked at the size of Sikkim and underestimated it, you shall be proven wrong.
It is India’s cleanest, calmest and (second) smallest state. The world's third highest mountain stands here. The forests here hide red pandas, orchids and more birds than you can ever count. The farmers here only believe in organic farming. Not to forget the innumerable lakes, glaciers and high-altitude terrains.
You take a drive here and you’ll pass through fog and stumble upon waterfalls no maps have marked. You take a sip of hot tea here and your feet will be dangling in floating clouds. You’ll come out of your car to see the lake and you’ll be confused between which is more bluer, sky or lake. You’ll lift your head up to see the source of the waterfall and you’ll be sure that it’s falling straight from the sky.
That’s how Sikkim will overwhelm you.

Sikkim rises through the Eastern Himalayas in a landscape of forested mountains, alpine valleys, clear lakes and snow-covered peaks. From Gangtok and the lower hills to the high valleys around Lachung and Yumthang, the scenery changes constantly with elevation. Above it all stands Kanchenjunga, giving the state a remarkable sense of scale while the forests and villages keep the journey intimate.
Sikkim brings together Lepcha, Bhutia and Nepali communities, creating a cultural landscape as varied as its geography. Buddhist monasteries sit among forests and mountain villages, while festivals, local food, traditional crafts and everyday rituals offer glimpses into a culture that remains closely connected to the land. The result is a destination where heritage feels lived rather than simply preserved for visitors.

The experience of Sikkim can move from quiet monastery visits to high-altitude lakes, forest walks and Himalayan trails. Explore the landscapes around Tsomgo and Gurudongmar, travel towards Yumthang, walk through rhododendron forests or follow the trails around Yuksom and Dzongri. For those drawn to nature, the state also offers remarkable wildlife and botanical diversity, including the red panda and rare Himalayan flora.

Sikkim lends itself naturally to slower travel. A mountain-view stay, a quiet morning overlooking the hills or an afternoon spent exploring a nearby village can feel as meaningful as a full day of sightseeing. With its clean landscapes, peaceful surroundings and strong connection to nature, Sikkim offers a chance to step away from the noise and simply experience the Himalayas.
